To my Brothers and Sisters,
I stand before you with a full heart to congratulate Chief Justin Davis on a hard-fought and well-earned victory. The people have spoken, and I respect their decision completely.
To every person who knocked on doors, shared posts, stood in the cold, or simply whispered a prayer for change—thank you. Your passion reminded us all what it means to care deeply for our community. This campaign was never about one person; it was about the dream of Strength in Unity - Prosperity in Partnership, and that dream does not end tonight.
To our youth: keep speaking up. To our elders: keep guiding us. To our Guardians, language warriors, and every DRFN member on- and off-reserve: keep holding the line for our lands, our language, and our future.
I will continue to serve this community in any way I am needed—because Dane-zaa resilience does not quit when the ballots are counted. We rise, we learn, we walk forward together.
The work of protecting K’ih Tsaa?dze Tribal Park, growing Úújǫ enterprises, reviving Beaver teachings, and ensuring safe homes and clean water belongs to all of us, no matter who sits in the Chief’s chair.
Strong People - Strong Lands. We will keep building, keep healing, and keep dreaming for the next generations.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
